It has been many years since US mortgages have been freely available to non-US residents. However, America Homes are pleased to announce that we have secured mortgage funding for our clients, meaning that there is no longer a requirement to purchase the property using only cash.

The new mortgage option is available currently for Atlanta properties only, and covers typically 50% of the sales price. The rates vary from time to time, and the term is usually set up over 10 years which means that in most cases, the rental income from the property is easily enough to cover the mortgage payment. So in effect, you are getting the property for half-price, and letting the rent cover the other half of the cost over the next 10 years. Once the loan is paid off, you own 100% of the property – which, ten years from now, should have increased handsomely.
